Hatha Yoga
Tuesdays Gentle to Moderate Hatha Yoga
This class combines physical postures, breath work and relaxation to improve health, reduce stress, and increase flexibility. All levels of ability welcome.

Tuesdays: Restorative Hatha Yoga:
This class allows you to slow everything down and completely rest and relax with the use of props. This practice will calm the mind and nervous system, enabling you to turn inward and focus on breath. Yoga Nidra (mindfulness) practice will take place the last class of each session.

This 1 hour session is an ancient healing practice that originated in India more than 1000 years ago. The back, neck, shoulders, head and face are massaged using a plant based oil.

Saturdays 8:30-9:30am: Deep and Powerful Fascial Unwind: A strong and deep practice for resilience, courage and really big groans. Each class is different but often we will find ourselves in lunges and pigeons that take us to a deep edge of resistance and release.
Saturdays 10:30-11:30am: All bodies Moderate Yoga: (All levels) Begin in deep relaxation, then postures that build on each other to evolve to a challenging crescendo and finally, end in deep relaxation. Work at your own pace. All levels welcome.

Adult Yoga Flow Series:
Do you need something in between a hot yoga class and a restorative yoga class? In
this 6 week series we will start and end with relaxation, a great way to prepare our
bodies and minds for the work ahead. As we start to explore the depth of our breath
we will dive into poses that will build strength, endurance, and flexibility. We will seek
ways to connect deeply to ourselves in a way that is both simple and satisfying. Let’s
practice together as we get playful and creative in exploring what our amazing bodies
can do in this balanced flow yoga class.

Kids Yoga and Mindfulness Series
In this 6 week series we will explore mindfulness, wellness, emotions, senses, and
effective communication through the use of breathing techniques, read alouds, creativity,
group discussions, journal writing and our yoga practise. We will develop our awareness
and language as we learn about these themes whilst building our resilience, and
confidence. Our discussions will focus on building strategies and developing our skills to
express our feelings and thoughts in a positive manner. Our yoga practise will be both
playful and serious as we dive into learning different poses that will increase our
strength, and flexibility. Parents and children can expect a positive learning
environment filled with sharing, laughter, and character building.

Be Balanced – Chair Yoga
Sometimes we need the support of a helping hand. Chair yoga is a wonderful alternative to a more floor-based yoga practice. If mobility is an issue for you or your group, we can practice with a chair for added stability. Chair yoga classes can be done entirely seated, or a chair can be used as a support for various standing poses typically done on a yoga mat. That being said, there is no mat needed for chair yoga, and you can even leave your shoes on if you wish! Classes can be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour long.

Chi Kung – Class Description
Chi Kung is an ancient Chinese exercise for health and well being. It is a series of movements and postures that are gentle, flowing and low impact. Chi Kung increases flexibility, balance, oxygen levels, mental clarity, boosts the immune system and reduces stress. It is restorative to the body for those that practice sports and martial arts and is also restorative to energy levels for those that practice the healing arts.
Come out and see how you like it. The first class is free!
