A Course in Mindful Living.

The Mindful Living Course is based on the principles found in various teachings including
“Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction”
Jon Kabat-Zinn.
In this 8 week session we explore stress reduction & life strategies for a healthier and more balanced life.  Instead of finding ourselves at the mercy of worry, fear, and anger , we grow in our ability to choose how we want to act in situations, often in ways that might have been out of our reach before.

Through the regular daily practice of Mindfulness Meditation we can completely change our relationship to stressors and greatly reduce the adverse affects of chronic stress.

Wednesday Evenings:  6:30 to 8:30 PM     

Cost: $165.00 + HST   (Includes Mindfulness Workbook)  No Drop Ins.

Winter Class Jan 22nd to Mar 11th 2020.  8 Weeks.

Spring Class:  April 1st to May 27th 2020.  8 Weeks.

Mindfulness classes for Child and Parent

Children emulate what they see, hear, touch. The greatest gift we can give ourselves and our children is the ability to live sensational lives, to communicate without fear of reprisal, to acknowledge all of our senses and to live free of the reactive stress impulses we have become so accustomed to experience. This course series provides a way parents can help to promote tools for low-stress and more balanced emotional responses in their children.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness, when applied appropriately, includes the qualities of

  • awareness (paying attention to one’s experience through the senses and the mind);
  • of non-judgment (not labeling things “good” or “bad” but rather observing with a neutral attitude);
  • and of stillness in heart and mind (though the body may be moving).

Fostering healthy living practices in children while providing the Parent/Caregiver the support and the tools needed to nurture calmer, cooperative, compassionate families for a happy, healthy balanced life.


The focus of this initiative is to provide a relaxed atmosphere where mindfulness skills are presented and practiced together; where parent and child can share a common “holistic language”, a common understanding and can build together in fostering a healthy balanced lifestyle.
