Mindful Kids Program for Parent & Child
This course series provides a way parents can help to promote tools for low-stress and more balanced emotional responses in their children. These skills are now a recognized and proven method for helping children relax and re-focus. Meditation is for all children, including those dealing with anxiety, fears, OCD, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. It gives them a lead at “intelligent emotional responses”.

The series is designed for the Parent/Caregiver and Child together, to expose children to mindfulness and self-calming practices while giving parents the tools they need to support children at home .

Kids Become Aware of
• emotions and how to calm with breath
• naming emotions
• vocabulary & language for self expression
• stress triggers and identifying them
• identifying stress as a suffering
• recognize & stop anxious thoughts
• experience clarity and peace of mind
• compassion toward self and others

Parents will receive
• the opportunity to network
• tips, encouragement and discussion on incorporating mindfulness practice into daily routine
• Supportive weekly information
• help in giving our children the necessary language for expressing emotion “suffering”

Mindfulness is all about living fully in the present moment...It's about breathing. It's about noticing what is happening right here and now.
